한국학진흥사업단은 2019년 9월 27일 러시아 상트페테르부르크대학교에서 개최된 연구자 간담회에 참석하였다. Rimma K. Tangalycheva(사업단장)을 비롯하여 Alexey A. Vasiliev(아시아·아프리카학부/동양학부), Dmitry A. Lanko(국제관계학부, 정치학과), Elena V. Kapustkina(사회학부, 사회학과) 등 대학 내 주요 관계자들과 한국학을 공부하고 있는 학부, 석‧박사 학생들과 만나 상트페테르부르크 현지 한국학 연구 수행현황에 대해 의견을 나누고 향후 차세대 인력 양성의 중요성을 재확인하였다.

  상트페테르부르크대학교는 2010년 해외한국학 중핵대학육성사업에 선정된 바 있으며, 2016년 동 사업에 재선정되어 현재 4차년도 사업 수행 중이다.

Researchers‘ Conference at the University of St.Petersburg in Russia

  The Korean Studies Promotion Service(KSPS) attended a Researchers’ meeting at the University of St. Petersburg, Russia on September 27, 2019. They met officials-including Rimma K. Tangalycheva(the head of project), Alexey A. Vasiliev(the Faculty of Asian-African and Eastern Studies), Dmitry A. Lanko(the Faculty of International Relations, the Studies of Political Science), Elena V. Kapustkina(the Faculty of Social Studies, Sociology)- and students from B.A to Ph.D courses at the university during the meeting. They discussed the status of the Korean research at the University and reaffirmed the importance of education for the next generation of manpower in the future.

  The University was selected as a Core University Program for Korean Studies and has been re-elected for the project of the same program in 2016. It is currently performing the fourth year in that project.
