The Korean Studies Promotion Service attended a conference of the Paris Consortium from September 13 to September 14, 2018. The Paris Consortium was comprised of a coalition of three universities which are participating in the Core University Program for Korean Studies: Université Paris Diderot-Paris 7, Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, and Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO). During the conference which spanned two days, there were discussions on enhancing networking for cooperative Korean Studies research in French-speaking countries, developing Korean Studies educational materials in French which are centered on the humanities, and devising various methods for approaching the teaching of Korean culture.
