한국학중앙연구원은 한국학의 학문정책 수립을 위한 제1차 자문회의를 개최하였다. 이 자문회의는 한국의 학문현실 및 학문정책의 현황과 문제점을 점검하고 바람직한 학문정책을 수립하기 위한 구체적 대안을 마련해야 한다는 데 뜻을 모았다. 당일 자문회의는 자문위원 14인과 한국학진흥사업단장, 부단장 등 총 24명이 참석한 가운데 프랑스 학술정책, 한국 과학기술 정책, 한국학 진흥책을 중심으로 발표와 토론이 이루어졌다. 본 자문회의는 3차 회의까지 개최하고 이를 기초로 학문정책 제안을 마련하여 공론화할 예정이다.

○ Holding of Advisory Council Meeting for Establishing Academic Policies

The Academy of Korean Studies held an Advisory Council meeting for the establishment of academic policies. This Advisory Council was convened with the goal of discussing the reality of academic in Korea and the current state of academic policies and their issues, as well as preparing detailed options for establishing favorable academicpolicies. The meeting was attended by the 14 members of the Advisory Council along with the Director of the Korean Studies Promotion Service (KSPS), the Deputy Director of the KSPS, and others for a total of 24 participants. During the meeting, presentations and discussions on French academic policies, Korean science and technology policies, and Korean Studies promotion policies took place. Advisory Committee meetings will be held a total of three times and their recommendations based on these meetings for academic policies will be published thereafter.
